First Business Showcase Planned In Lincoln County


The first Business Showcase for Lincoln and Sagadahoc Counties, will be October 24 in Damariscotta.

The event is being planned by the Lincoln County Economic Development Office in partnership with Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI) and the Chambers of Commerce for the Damariscotta, Boothbay Harbor, and Bath/Brunswick regions.

The Showcase will highlight the business opportunities available right in your community, announced Paul Harrison, director of the Lincoln County Economic Development office, located in Wiscasset.

The theme of the showcase is Growth in Maine in the 21st Century.

The venue is designed to connect businesses with customers, suppliers, service providers, and resources that can assist the growth and dynamic development of your enterprise.

There will be space for about 60 exhibitors at the event, which will be held at the Central Lincoln County YMCA from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This is a unique opportunity for businesses to access your existing and expanding customer base, network with your peers and competitors, learn how to access those resources essential for your companys growth and to sell your company to qualified prospects seeking career opportunities, Harrison wrote in a letter of invitation to business owners.

The $125 exhibitor fee covers conference registration for an exhibit and display area, admission to all four workshops and seminars, refreshments, and attendance to an informal reception at the end of the day.
