Despite Loss, Coach Knows Team Is Improving

Steve Goble

In a match against Mountain Valley opponent Hall-Dale on Sept. 16, the Wiscasset golf team fell short of a victory by three shots, losing 204-201.

Coach Tim Flanagan believes that the team is improving and was pleased with the effort, saying "This match shows that we're ready to play against this team."

Jamie Jones, Bobby Sawyer, and Jacob Braley were all individual winners.

The next home match for the team will be against Boothbay. Start time is 3:30 p.m. at the Bath Country Club.
