News From Brownie Troop #1676

Wiscasset Brownie Troop #1676 met at the Scout Hall on Tuesday, November 8. We met new Brownies and introduced ourselves. We opened with The Girl Scout Law and The Girl Scout Promise. If we learn the Girl Scout Promise by the end of the year, we will win flashlights that we can use on our camping trips. Assistant Troop Leader Lisa Tripp shared with us her experience serving on the Grand Jury. We decided instead of collecting dues each week that we would bring in an item of food. We will be working with Sarah's to make Thanksgiving baskets for families in need. We will keep our food drive going throughout the year to help people who might need food. For a craft project we are making Thanksgiving placements for the baskets. | |
