The Board of Selectmen would like to thank the people who helped clean out some surplus and outdated items from the Town Hall on Tuesday, January 30.
The group included Cheryl Anderson, Bill Cooney, Carole Dunbar, Richard Drummey, Betsy Forest, Charlie Howe, Bob Mongeon and Ruth Nelson. Their effort will considerably improve the appearance of the Town Hall by making it easier to clean and maintain. Thanks to all for your great effort.
As you can imagine, there's not much news this time of year. People tend to stay in, lay low and huddle up to the woodstove!
So for those of you who were hoping to read more about islanders - send me some news! I had written more about my feelings about politics and the island this week, but I was willing to take the editor's suggestion to put it in a Letter to the Editor.
