Dee Dow joins Uncle Andy's Digest
Dee Dow of Westport Island has accepted a position on the sales staff at
Andy's Digest. Dow brings over ten years of experience in the building
industry in the midcoast area to her new position as Account Executive.
She will handle all promotion, distribution and sales of the midcoast
edition of Uncle Andy's Digest from Brunswick to Damariscotta. With her
addition to the staff, the plan is for the digest to double in size from
its present 48 pages to 96 pages within the next year. The digest will
also be available at more locations in the midcoast area immediately.
"Dee is a much needed shot in the arm to our company," Jim "Jimbo"
Marston, managing partner said. "She has a great attitude, is very
personable and is well-liked in the midcoast community."
Uncle Andy's Digest was founded in 1996 and presently publishes two free
monthly editions, the 112 page greater L/A edition and the 48 page
midcoast edition. The publication is full of economically priced display
advertising interspersed with interesting facts and quotes, humorous quips
and stories, tall tales, and pictures of local people with funny one
liners and words of wisdom from and about those people.
Dow has lived on Westport Island with her family for the past 21 years.
