John R. Gallagher, Jr. of Edgecomb, died at his home on Tuesday, October 2. Visitations will be held on Thursday, October 4, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Simmons, Harrington & Hall Funeral Home, 975 Wiscasset Road in Boothbay. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 5 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wiscasset. A complete obituary will follow next week.
