The next "take out" Sunday supper at the Edgecomb Congregational Church will be held on Sunday, October 21.

The menu will be a choice of beef stew or pumpkin bisque. Each meal will be accompanied by an individual herb knot bread. Dessert will be apple crisp.

The meals will be ready to be picked up at the church on Cross Point Road, at 5 p.m. Delivery can be arranged. The cost will be $6 per serving.

A family portion, enough for a family of four, will be $20. Additional servings for the family portion will be $4. Please reserve by Tuesday, October 16.

  The Soup Group is a cooperative venture sponsored by area Sunday School children to raise money for Heifer International. Children, young people and adults from The Sheepscott Community Church, the Midcoast Friends Meeting in Damariscotta, the Edgecomb Congregational Church, UCC and the Unitarian-Universalist Fellowship in Edgecomb will prepare and package the food for delivery. As much as possible local foods will be used to prepare take out dinners.
