Info on domestic violence available

There will be an opportunity to meet people in the midcoast area who help families experiencing domestic abuse on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at St. Philip's Episcopal Church. The church is located on Hodge Street, off Route 1 near the Lincoln County Courthouse.

Called a "Domestic Violence Awareness Fair," it will begin at 4 p.m. Included in the information that will be available are new state laws relating to domestic violence and groups working to combat domestic violence.

Any organizations or individuals who would like to take part in the fair are asked to send an E-mail to calibeaux@yahoo.com. The floor will be open for survivors of domestic abuse.
