Lottie L. Burgess

Obituaries

Lottie L. Burgess, 77, of Wiscasset, died Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Winship Green Nursing Center in Bath.

Born in Swansville on November 23, 1929, she was a daughter of Wilbur A. and Grace E. (Small) Casey.

She attended schools in Livermore Falls and Morse High School in Bath. On February 1, 1948 she married Frederick L. Burgess, Sr. They owned and operated Burgess Lumber Yard on Route 1 in Woolwich for 15 years and after retiring 1975 they moved to Wiscasset.

Mrs. Burgess was predeceased by her husband, Frederick L. Burgess Sr. on October 24, 1999.

Survivors include two sons, Frederick L. Burgess Jr. and his wife Jona of Florida, and Ames A. Burgess of Woolwich; one brother, Elmer Ames of Litchfield; and two grandsons, Nicholas and Matthew.

Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wiscasset.

Memorial contribution may be made to Alzheimers Association, 163 Lancaster Street, Suite 1608, Portland, ME 04101; or Maine Parkinson's Society, 5 Bucknam Road, Suite 1A, Falmouth, ME 04105.

Arrangements are by Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath.

Bluebear Joshua Lalli

Obituaries

Bluebear Joshua Lalli, nine months, 18 days passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 16 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Born December 28, 2006, Bluebear was the son of Matthew E. and Tina York Lalli.

Although Bluebear's life was short in years, he brought so much happiness to those who loved him. He had a beautiful smile that would warm one's heart and he will be sadly missed by all who loved him. He was a precious soul who was swept from the arms of his loved ones to those in heaven who were watching over him.

Survivors include his parents, and sister, Qiana-arazara Lee Lalli, all of Waldoboro; maternal grandparents, Benjamin York of Jefferson and Clover York of Jay; paternal grandparents, Cathy Penn and her companion, Fred Ryan of Waldoboro and Louis Lalli of N.H., Ed and Olive Lalli of Maynard, Mass., and Carl Watson of Boothbay Harbor; maternal great-grandmother, Joan Barnes of Worcester, Mass.; paternal great-grandmother, Lucille Johnson of Worcester, Mass.; many aunts, uncles and several nieces, nephews and cousins

A service was held Monday, October 22 in the Chapel at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 949 Main St., Waldoboro, Maine.

Geraldine W. Pavillard

Geraldine W. Pavillard, 85, of Bath, formerly of Boothbay Harbor, died Sunday, October 21, at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick after a brief illness.

Born in Boothbay Harbor, on November 17, 1921, the daughter of Everett and Grace Brewer Williams, she graduated Boothbay Harbor High School, class of 1939.She also attended Ballard Business School in Rockland.

She was employed as a secretary for Blenn Perkins Law Firm for many years, then in 1970 she moved to Florida, where she worked at the Bethesda Hospital until her retirement.After her retirement she moved to Bath where she had resided since.

Mrs. Pavillard was a former member of the Boothbay Harbor United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Pavillard; sister, Sarah Webster; and brother, Gordon Williams.

Survivors include one son, James Mahoney & his wife Paula of Bath; one grandson, Christopher Mahoney of Harpswell; one granddaughter, Lisa Ladd and her husband Steve of Dresden; two great- grandchildren, Alex and Aidan Ladd of Dresden; nieces, Eleanor Alley of East Boothbay and Elizabeth Webster Smith of Bath; and nephew, Phillip Webster of Boothbay.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by Simmons, Harrington & Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 975 Wiscasset Rd., Boothbay.
