Thanksgiving help needed
The Thanksgiving holiday will soon be here and the Town of Wiscasset is collecting monetary donations to provide Thanksgiving dinner to area families. If you are interested in contributing so that a family could enjoy a dinner, contact the Town Office, 882-8200, extension 101 by Friday, November 16.
This year we plan to try something new! We request that anyone who has extra Shaw's "Turkey Points" and would like to donate them to the town, please drop them off at the Wiscasset Transfer Station in the "Shaw's" box or bring to the Town Office before Saturday, November 17. We will use the points to purchase free turkeys for families in need.
Anyone who would like to request assistance for the Thanksgiving holiday, please contact the Town Office before Friday, November 16. | |
