Corrections
In last week's issue of this newspaper in an article titled "Westport Mill Rate 5.3," it was incorrectly reported to be the 2007-2008 mill rate. This is the 2006-2007 mill rate.
In the article printed in last week's issue (Nov. 8, 2008) reporting on events that took place at the Edgecomb's Selectmen's meeting, Jack Sarmanian was incorrectly described as the Chairman of the Budget Committee. The Chairman of the Budget Committee is Rick Elder.
Sarmanian is the Chairman of the Article 24 Committee. The purpose of this committee is to assist selectmen in locating property to purchase for town use | |
