Hopes for the New Year
It's time to get out the old crystal ball, shake it up, and see what 2008 holds for us all. Here's what I'm hoping for: The invention of something new to melt the icy roads that won't rust out our cars. An automatic screeching whistle that can be built into our phones, so when it's one of those stupid recorded messages, we can blow off whoever is sitting in a little cubicle somewhere, waiting for us to talk back to the stupid recorded message. A drop in property taxes. A drop in gas prices. Young, beautiful, skinny women advertising denture adhesive and hemorrhoid cream. The outlawing of commercials that advertise help for parts of the male body. No more stories about Lindsey, Brittany, Jay Lo, JoJo, and whoever the other young, dumb bimbos are out there Apples with no cores. Politicians who do less spinning. No hungry children. Anywhere. Peace. Everywhere. | |
