The Art of Creating an Employee
Presented by CEI Staffing Services, Inc. in conjunction with the
Women's Business Center at CEI, this 2-part, 4-hour workshop will provide
you with the information and tools to complete an up-to-date employee
handbook that you will be able to distribute to employees at the end of
the course. Your employee handbook is one of the most important written
documents in your organization. It sets the company tone, culture and
philosophy and creates an important relationship between Human Resources,
Management, and your most valuable asset... your employees. Instructors
Gerard Salvo, Managing Director of CEI Staffing Services with over 20
years of human resources experience; and Merritt Carey, an attorney
specializing in Human Resource and Employee Relation issues, will assist
you in addressing issues concerning numerous regulations and interpretive
decisions in recent years which affect personnel policies.
Now you can participate in a web-based workshop in the convenience of
your office and on your own computer. Enrolled participants can view
workshop presentations, download workshop materials, ask the instructor
questions, develop a company specific handbook and respond to others on an
online bulletin board. Requires a computer with Internet access onto which
you can download files. Payments must be made in advance of the workshop's
opening date, as only paid participants receive the workshop URL and
workshop key code to attend. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up
early. Registration deadline for this course is January 30. The fee for
this course is $95
