Flower show trip fund-raiser for boat school


th New England Spring Flower Show in Boston the weekend of March 14 - 16. Reservations close on Thursday, February 7 The three-day deluxe package tour will offer departures from Damariscotta, Wiscasset and Waldoboro for Lincoln County residents that wish to participate.

The Friends of the Boat School is offering a trip to the 137 th New England Spring Flower Show in Boston the weekend of March 14 - 16. Reservations close on Thursday, February 7 The three-day deluxe package tour will offer departures from Damariscotta, Wiscasset and Waldoboro for Lincoln County Residents that wish to participate.

The Friends of The Boat School tour package is $495 per person, based on double occupancy. Single, triple and quad rates are also available. The package includes round-trip deluxe motor coach transportation, two nights accommodations at the AAA Three Diamond rated Double Tree Suites Hotel, full breakfast each morning while in Boston, dinner the night of arrival, lunch the day of departure, admission to the Flower Show, a tour of Boston, the services of two tour directors and a shopping stop at the Kittery Outlet Store on the way home.

The trip is a fund-raiser for the non-profit Friends of the Boat School group. Friends of the Boat School is the organization that supports the educational and outreach programs of the Boat School in Eastport… America's oldest and most comprehensive boat building program dedicated to continuing the integrity, quality and traditions of Maine's 400 year old boat building history and industry.
