Cheryl Rust, of Wiscasset, is Spring Harbor Hospital's new Board Secretary.

Rust is the longtime owner of Wiscasset's popular Le Garage Restaurant. She currently holds a number of community posts, including membership on the Commissioner's Advisory Team for Maine's Department of Health and Human Services, Secretary of the Maine Health Access Foundation Board, and Secretary of the Board for Mid Coast Health Services in Brunswick.

Rust is a member of both the Bath-Brunswick Region Chamber of Commerce and the Safe & Health Community Issue Council of the United Way of Midcoast Maine. She is Past President of Shoreline Community Mental Health Services and was previously affiliated with the Maine Hospital Association's Governance Council. Rust has been a member of the Spring Harbor Hospital Board for nine years.

In partnership, Spring Harbor Hospital in Westbrook and Maine Medical Center in Portland offer mental health and substance abuse treatment, training, and research programs.
