For the third year, the First Congregational Church of Wiscasset has begun a series of Lenten Study groups.

On each Monday evening from now through March 17, members gather for a pot luck supper, followed by a short video and discussion period. The video series this year is entitled "When It Is Hard to Choose."

Each twenty minute video presents an ethical issue and encourages the class to reflect on and discuss the topic as Christians. Some of the topics of this year's series are truth telling, responsibility, prejudice, compassion, violence/non-violence, and relationships.

Suppers begin at 6 p.m., and discussion will end by 7:30 p.m. Child care is provided, and all are welcome to come and share good food, fellowship and discussion.
