Easter will soon be here. The Wiscasset town office is planning to try something new.

We request that anyone who has extra Shaw's "Ham/Turkey Points" and would like to donate them to the town, please drop them off at the Wiscasset Transfer Station in the "Shaw's" box or bring them to the town office before Thursday, March 20 at 4 p.m.

We will use the points to purchase free hams or turkeys for families in need.
