County Democrats join energy expo

Lincoln County Democratic Committee
On April 18 and 19, Lincoln County Democrats will join other exhibitors at the second annual Midcoast Sustainable Energy Expo, presented by the Midcoast Green Collaborative. The Expo will be held at the Central Lincoln County YMCA in Damariscotta.
Consistent with the Maine Democratic Party's commitment to addressing environmental issues and challenges, the Lincoln County Democrats will sell environmentally friendly, wind-up flashlights that eliminate the cost of batteries and the problem of getting rid of old, dead batteries.
Last year the Lincoln County Democratic Committee sold Light Emitting Diode (LED) light bulbs at the Expo, and also gave away many boxes of LED light bulbs to non-profit organizations.
