County reports drug arrests

Two Midcoast couples have been arrested and charged with trafficking in illegal drugs in operations conducted by the Lincoln County Drug Task Force including agents from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, and Waldoboro Police Department. Sagadahoc County Sheriff's Office also assisted with these operations.

On Thursday, June 12, a Bath couple was arrested and charged with trafficking in OxyContin (Oxycodone). These charges are a result of an extended investigation into illegal drug trafficking in the Damariscotta area.

Daniel Mitchell, age 25, and Desiree Brown, age 26, were arrested and charged with Unlawful Trafficking in Schedule W Drug (Oxycodone) and were booked at the Two Bridges Regional Jail. This charge is a Class B felony. Both subjects also have similar charges pending in Sagadahoc County. At the time of this press release, both subjects were each being held on $5,000 cash bail.

On Friday, June 13, a Waldoboro couple was arrested and charged with trafficking in Vicodin (Hydrocodone) and Roxicet (Oxycodone). These charges are a result of a long term investigation into illegal drug trafficking in the Waldoboro area.

Leroy Parker, age 42, and his wife Desiree Parker, age 30, were arrested and each charged with two counts of Unlawful Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs (Hydrocodone and Oxycodone) and were booked at the Two Bridges Regional Jail. These charges are all Class B felony charges. At the time of this press release, Mr. Parker is being held on a Probation Hold and Mrs. Parker has been released on a PR bail pending a later court date.
